National Defense University is a military university established in 2016 and primarily located in Beşiktaş, İstanbul. The university education and training started with the ceremony held on 12 February 2017 at the Air Force Academy. It is a continuation of the Turkish War Academies.

Why can't 21 and 22 year olds take the exam? 21 22 years of age is not so late that you graduate from high school at the age of 18 and cannot decide which field to settle in. Isn't it a normal situation? After all, this may be the job you will do for a lifetime, you can enter MSU twice at most after graduating. Depending on the year, you cannot enter if you are 21 or older. You have no right to think. Isn't 21 a little early? Can't the age limit be increased a little more? What if she was 23 or something?

I am a guidance counselor working at the high school level. I called the university and asked them to give a seminar at our school. First they said okay, write a cover letter, but then I wrote it and they said the file was not opened and we couldn't see it. They literally threw me out by saying "Let's see." My students and I were looking forward to the people coming from the university. I condemn the promotion activities of such an important university for our country and the lack of empathy and careless work of the people who carry them out.
